OUR PHILOSOPHY

Children learn more in their preschool years than at any other time in life. All children are encouraged to develop to their full potential. A dedicated, diverse, innovative and professional staff works effectively for the benefit of each child. We provide a consistent schedule with a balance between teacher-directed and child-centered activities. It is our goal that children will possess confidence in their abilities and establish lasting relationships with teachers and peers.

By offering an engaging curriculum it is our aspiration that each child will develop a positive outlook towards education, a better appreciation of the world around them, and acquire a lifelong love for learning during their time spent at Bright Beginners Montessori.

We are committed to working closely with families to help these preschool years be a rewarding experience. At Bright beginning Montessori each child is respected as an individual and treated equally irrespective of gender, race, or culture.

Stimulation

Children need to be stimulated in order to reach their full potential and our classrooms are designed for that specific purpose.

Learning through the senses

Using all our senses to learn makes the learning experience more fun and easier to absorb.

Freedom to learn

Each child is allowed controlled freedom within the classroom. By being allowed a choice, the child becomes responsible and confident while at the same time learning with enthusiasm.

Independence

Independence develops an interest for learning when they are provided with a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards gaining knowledge.

Self-discipline

Through the freedom to choose and learn at his or her own pace the child acquires the ability of ‘self-discipline’.

Repetition

“Repetition is the key for learning.” The Montessori environment allows the child to repeat activities and in this way removes any pressure or fear in grasping the concept of an activity.
